When I started my agency in 2007, I really had no idea what I was doing. Oh, sure, I had design experience. I had marketing experience. I could sell. What more could you possibly need? 

Go ahead, have a good laugh at my naive delusions of grandeur, I can laugh about it now, too. 

I learned very quickly that running an agency is hard. It’s different from being a self-employed marketer. There’s really not another job quite like it. Managing projects, leading employees, setting strategy, handling the finances, and keeping clients happy are a challenge by themselves, try learning them on the fly. 

In the years running Tribute Media, I learned some pretty cool tricks to making an agency profitable while balancing client & employee happiness. I developed proven methods to help agencies grow, and I want to share them with you so you don’t have to suffer the same growing pains I did.
